Dixell XEV12D is a controller for a wide range of On/Off electronic expansion valves. Dixell XEV12D allows you to control the superheat (SH) of the refrigerant flowing in the circuit to optimize evaporator performance and function regardless of climatic conditions or load. Superheat control is performed when a command is given by the temperature controller (compressor relay closure) , which activates the digital input of the XEV12D controller. Dixell XEV12D is equipped with two digital inputs, one input for 4÷20mA or 0÷5V from the pressure sensor and one input for Pt1000 or NTC temperature sensor. The LAN connection allows the pressure signal to be transferred to other XEV modules to use only one pressure sensor for applications such as display cabinets with multiple evaporators. Two configurable digital inputs, one voltage-free and the other voltage-controlled, simplify the transfer of cooling requirements from a conventional refrigeration thermostat (e.g., Dixell XR60CX) to Dixell XEV12D . The display allows you to show the superheat (SH) value, the valve opening degree or the readings on the input probes, and also to set the controller without using additional instruments. The RS485 serial line allows connection to Dixell monitoring systems.
